    Mickey Hardy retires as William Fleming boys head basketball coach

    ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — WFXR Sports learned Wednesday that long-time William Fleming High School’s boys’ basketball head coach, Mickey Hardy is retiring from his position.

    Workouts at Nationals Park give members of the military a chance to train in a unique setting

    Hardy has been the head coach for the Colonels basketball team for more than two decades since 2003.

    Coach Hardy led the Colonels to several regional and district titles to include winning the VHSL 2007 Class AA title. He won 358 games with the Colonels.
