Team County Wins 90th Dream Game, 35-28
Mid Valley’s Jordan Chmielewski scored three touchdowns and caught the game-clinching interception for Team County to beat Team City in the 90th Dream Game, 35-28. During halftime, Dunmore native and now Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio was honored as the man of the year.
Millions in state budget for businesses
LUZERNE COUNTY, Pa. — The governor stopped in Duryea on Friday at the Production Systems Automation factory to tout the recently signed state budget. More than 500 million dollars will help the state grow more competitively with jobs, better pay, and more businesses. 20 million will go toward the Main Street Matters Program to help small businesses. PSA currently has 92 workers and is one of the 7,000 small businesses in Luzerne County with fewer than 100 employees. They say this money will go a long way.
