Scranton Lions 90th Annual Dream goes to the County squad, 35-28

With this year’s contest, both teams were stacked with standouts from all of the Lackawanna Conference teams. The City squad looked like they had the offensive firepower to finally turn the tables on the County team.
Men charged in death of West Scranton barber waive prelims
SCRANTON — Two men accused of road rage that led to the March death of a barber from West Scranton waived their preliminary hearings Wednesday. Prosecutors say John Darko, 1330 Fords Pond Road, Glenburn Twp., and Paul Viscomi, 39 Van Sickle St., Scott Twp., were involved in a “road-rage type” incident on Keyser Avenue, which resulted in the death of Brian Nardella on March 27.
