World Golf Hall of Fame
The World Golf Hall of Fame has returned to its original home in Pinehurst, NC. The facility opened just prior to the 2024 U.S. Open at the new Golf House Pinehurst campus adjacent to Pinehurst Country Club. The first floor of the building houses the USGA Experience which includes artifacts from the USGA Museum and Library. On the second floor is the WGHOF where visitors will find a new Hall of Fame locker room experience. Each locker representing all inductees maintains a collection of gear and artifacts that assists in telling that player’s story and rich history. Here, you will see Bob Jones’ Spalding 2-wood. Jack Nicklaus’ MacGregor golf bag from the 1965 Masters and Johnny Miller’s clubs, ball and champions golf medal from the 1973 U.S. Open at Oakmont. And so much more.
Moore Regional Hospital ranks in Money’s Best Hospitals 2024 list
PINEHURST — FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, including its Hoke and Richmond campuses, has earned recognition as one of the Best Hospitals in America by Money. Money named just 115 hospitals out of more than 6,000 across the United States to create its list of best hospitals. To compile its list of the Best Hospitals in America, Money crunched 13,500 data points and considered hospitals based on patient care, price transparency and quality of patient experience.
