Jason Greenberg for Ward 2

Jason Greenberg announced his plans to run in the special election for the open Robbinsdale City Council seat in Ward 2.

“I am a 17 year resident of Robbinsdale and have actively worked with our community as a member of the Planning Commission and currently as a co-chair of the Community Advisory Committee for the Blue Line Extension,” Greenberg wrote in a note the Sun Post. “I want to make sure the people of Ward 2 have their voices represented on the City Council and have shown an ability to listen to different viewpoints and represent them effectively.”

The election is to complete the term of former Council Member Sheila Webb, who stepped down in October . Robbinsdale residents in Ward 2, who represent northeastern Robbinsdale, can vote on Tuesday, May 14 in the special primary.
