The Robbinsdale Area Schools Board of Education voted unanimously to select Dr. Teri Staloch as the district’s next superintendent.

Staloch was the only candidate interviewed by the board May 28 following a lengthy search process. The Robbinsdale Area School Board is negotiating a contract with Dr. Staloch. The proposed date for her to assume her new role is July 1.

“Dr. Staloch has demonstrated through her experience and skills that she has the qualifications necessary to lead Robbinsdale Area Schools,” Chair ReNae Bowman said. “Her leadership experience, students-first decision-making, focus on collaboration, strong communication skills, and her dedication to ensuring a safe, inclusive, and welcoming learning environment for all students and staff make her the right fit for our district.”

Staloch has a career in K-12 education, which includes previous experience as an English teacher, all the way up to a district superintendent, most recently at Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools between 2015 and 2022. She is currently the director of engagement and strategic partnerships for PartnerED Consultants and is a senior educational consultant for SitelogIQ.

“I am honored and humbled for the opportunity to lead alongside dedicated school board members, administrators, and staff to collectively serve Robbinsdale Area Schools students, families, and community members,” Staloch said. “My values, experiences and commitment to ensuring high levels of learning for all students in a safe, loving and inclusive environment align with the (Re)Discover Rdale Strategic Plan.

“I look forward to building relationships with, and learning from, the members of the Robbinsdale Area School District community to elevate the work inherent in the district mission, and to bring the strategic plan to life as we collectively support each student and adult to make themselves, their communities, and the world a better place.”
