B/R argues the Saints should tank for next year’s draft
Until the New Orleans Saints put together a playoff season, the national sentiment will remain the team is trying to keep open a window that is already closed. Even a playoff berth may not be enough to dispel this thought. New Orleans was one of the six teams Bleacher Report’s Alex Ballentine laid out who need to tank this season. Ballentine pointed out the Saints have handled the cap in a way that suggests they are a Super Bowl contender when they’re far from it. Tanking in 2024 could give the team the reset they could need right now. With a high...
Division Rivals Panthers, Saints Could Fight Over Same Big-Name Cut Candidate
After signing a cheap prove-it deal with the Buffalo Bills, one report indicates that the team could cut offensive tackle La’el Collins before the start of the 2023 season. After going undrafted in the 20215 NFL Draft, Collins quickly established himself as one of the league’s better offensive tackles, recording an impressive 82.0 PFF grade as recently as 2021. However, the tackle struggled in 2022 before suffering season-ending ACL and MCL tears late in the year. The LSU product sat out the 2023 season while recovering from said injury and had to sign a one-year, $1.75 million deal with Buffalo.

He did not confirm the fire's origin or the number of people involved, if any.
Trending: LSU Is Expected To Lose Two Major Games This Season In A Great Bold Prediction That Could Keep Them Out Of The Playoffs
LSU had a rough season last year. Even though they had Heisman-winning quarterback Jayden Daniels, their defense couldn’t stop anyone, and they lost three games because of it, wasting a perfect offense. Now Daniels is in the NFL, and the Tigers look to be starting Garrett Nussmeier at the...
Chiefs, Saints Logical Destinations For All-Pro Free Agent
Training camps will start up in the coming days, and free agent defensive back Patrick Peterson hopes to join a new team as he gears up for his 14th NFL season. A first-round pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, the LSU product and three-time All-Pro spent most of his career at cornerback before transitioning to a hybrid role with the Pittsburgh Steelers. The future Hall of Famer played both cornerback and safety last year and should field some interest in both positions.
NFL Rumors: Drake Maye patience, Saints QB competition, Patrick Peterson befuddled
Training camp will be here before you know it. As we have arrived at the dog days of summer, NFL news becomes less and less available in the lead-up to the season. August will be here soon enough, but now is the time to speculate, pontificate and try to figure some very important things out, such as Drake Maye's progress, the New Orleans Saints' quarterback situation and Patrick Peterson's career.
