    SUV Homicide: Slain Driver Found in Arlington Parking Lot

    A 27-year-old male was attacked to dying late on Sunday, Oct. 13, as he was moving a sport utility vehicle through the parking lot of an Arlington apartment complex, police said.

    The male was shot upon around 11 p.m. in the 2100 block of Wilcrest Drive, off Texas 303 near Sherry Street, Arlington police said.

    An authority saw the guy hung inside a Ford Edge. The SUV was left in drive, pocked with bullet pits, and seemed to have hit several parked cars.

    The man, whose name the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office identified as Tre-Von Thornton, Jarell, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at a hospital.

    According to findings gathered at the location, law enforcement officials stated that indications pointed towards the potential involvement of drug-related activities.
