Mercer's six recipients are tied for the most of any institution across all six divisions of the NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA. To be eligible for an NCAA DI nomination, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior, participate in 50% of their team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 76.0 and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
