Six Mercer Golfers Selected as Cobalt All-America Scholars
MACON, Ga. - Six members of the Mercer men's golf team, Tobias Jonsson, Trey Mixon, Jonathan Parker, Gustav Sjöberg, Jay Spivey and Jacob Uyesato, have been selected as NCAA Division I Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars. Mercer's six recipients are tied for the most of any institution across all six divisions of the NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA. To be eligible for an NCAA DI nomination, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior, participate in 50% of their team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 76.0 and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
