Two Charged in Robertson County Homicide as Search Continues for Springfield Man Polo Saldierna
The missing person case of Apolinar "Polo" Saldierna, 54, is now entwined with a homicide investigation in Robertson County. Polo, a resident of Springfield, was reported missing on June 12 after not being seen since June 7. Compounding concerns, Polo's roommate, Carlos Camaja, 24, was found dead on June 11 near the Kentucky/Tennessee state line. According to WSMV, Camaja's body was discovered dumped next to railroad tracks, and his death has been ruled a homicide.
Free Movie Fridays return to Springfield this summer with Barbie, Migration, more planned
Free Movie Fridays are back this summer in Robertson County. The Springfield Parks and Recreation Department and Walmart of Springfield recently announced the event's return. Movie nights will be held at 6 p.m. on the third Friday of each month through September at Martin Luther King, Jr. Park on South Main Street, according to a press release.
Roommate of murdered man now reported missing
SPRINGFIELD, Tenn. (WSMV) - A missing man may be linked to a homicide investigation involving a dead man whose body was found dumped in Robertson County in early June. According to Smokey Barn News, Apolinar (Polo) Sadierna-Garcia was reported missing on June 12 from Springfield, and the Springfield Police Department was told he had not been seen since June 7.
