LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — The last of nine victims in the June 15 shooting at a Rochester Hills splash pad is out of the hospital and back home.

The 39-year-old Rochester Hills mother, whose 8-and-4-year-old sons were also injured and previously released, left the hospital Friday after a three-week stay, Oakland County Office of the Sheriff said.

The 8-year-old boy, who sustained critical injuries, got out of the hospital last week.

The woman was seriously injured while she was trying to protect her children from the gunman on June 15.

In total, seven adults and two children were injured in the random shooting. Officials said they are not identifying the victims.

The gunman, 42-year-old William Nash of Shelby Township, killed himself after Oakland County deputies surrounded the mobile home Nash had shared with his mother.

The shooting is still under investigation.
