(North Liberty, IA) — An Iowa woman is in custody in Minnesota after police found a body in the backseat of a crashed car.

The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single-vehicle crash Saturday on interstate-90 near Rochester and found 32-year-old Margot Lewis of North Liberty, Iowa, standing next to the vehicle. Police then discovered the body of 35-year-old Liara Tsai of Minneapolis in the backseat, wrapped in blood covered blankets.

Lewis is being held in the Olmsted County Jail on a one-million dollar bond. She is charged with interference with a dead body.
