    Man in life-threatening condition after shooting in Rialto St. home

    ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A shooting on Rialto Street left a man in life-threatening condition at the same address where a double homicide took place, according to Rochester police.

    Officers said they responded to the area near Hollenbeck Street around midnight and found a 26-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his upper body. Officers said he was shot inside the house.

    The victim was taken to URMC for treatment but remains in a life-threatening condition.

    RPD’s Major Crimes Unit is investigating the scene. Investigators said the victim was shot at the same address as the triple shooting that killed two people back in May . The victim did not live on Rialto Street. Officers believe there is no connection between these two incidents.

    It has not been confirmed if there is a suspect, but tow trucks took two cars from the scene, one of which belongs to the victim.
