Customers reporting issues finding Amazon gift cards in NY

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Are you not able to find an Amazon gift card in stores? You’re not alone.

Customers are reporting trouble finding Amazon gift cards in New York. Wegmans told News 8 Amazon pulled its gift cards out of all Wegmans locations in New York State.

News 8 reached out to Tops Friendly Markets for information, but they referred all questions to Amazon. News 8 also reached out to Dollar Tree for comment.

A spokesperson for Amazon told News 8 they periodically experiment with how customers buy gift cards. They say customers can still buy them off of Amazon’s website. It has not been confirmed why Amazon’s gift cards were removed from Wegmans.
