ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Around 20 officers responded to MLK Park late Thursday night to break up several fights in the area.

The Rochester Police Department responded to the park for a large gathering of youths. They said officers from all four sections including the Tactical Unit worked to disperse the small fights.

RPD said there were no injuries reported and no arrests had been made.

This comes weeks after six people were injured in a shooting at the park. Investigators said that started when an argument broke out and someone fired a gun into a crowd of people. This led to Mayor Malik Evans closing the space down at 8 p.m. daily .
