    Suspect arrested after gunshots were fired on East Main Street

    ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A man has been charged with reckless endangerment after gunshots were fired on East Main Street early Friday morning.

    Rochester police said they were called to the 1300 block of E. Main Street before 2 a.m. for a person who was possibly shot. There was no victim, but officers said shots were fired fro a vehicle.

    After RPD sent a description out, New York State Police found and stopped the car in the area of Campbell Street and Saxton Street.

    All of the occupants inside were detained and officers said they recovered a handgun.

    A 22-year-old man was taken into custody and charged with first-degree reckless endangerment and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon. His identity was not released.
