    Vacant house fire on Lexington Avenue remains under investigation

    ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – A vacant home on Lexington Avenue was significantly damaged by a fire late Sunday night.

    According to the Rochester Fire Department, they heard via 911 call that there was a fire on the front porch of the home. They said the fire spread to the first floor and extended to the second floor.

    News 8 was at the scene and saw several fire trucks. Firefighters were able to get the fire under control around 20 minutes. Nobody was injured and there were no victims found inside the structure.

    Investigators said there is evidence that a squatter was staying inside the house, but the fire remains under investigation.
