An HVAC failure at ALDI , 175 N. Winton Road, has been fixed and chilled and frozen foods returned to coolers lining the store’s walls.

The breakdown affecting the system on the store’s roof happened around 1 p.m. Monday during a rainstorm and was believed to be weather-related.

Perishable items were temporarily housed in two refrigerated trailers on-site while repairs were made.

Coolers that sit on the floor were unaffected.
