ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Beatriz LeBron, the vice president of the Rochester Board of Education, is scheduled to appear in court July 25 on a harassment charge.

According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, Monroe County Legislator Mercedes Vazquez Simmons filed a complaint against LeBron for verbally harassing her on April 23. After an investigation, MCSO referred the case to a judge who issued a warrant for second degree harassment.

LeBron denied the claims against her in a Facebook live video , saying, “I am looking forward to going to trial. I will not be taking any pleas. I did not make any threats. It is a false allegation and I look forward to my day in court to refute it, show the evidence, and fight the case.”

LeBron is scheduled to appear in Rochester City Court on July 25. In her video, she asked supporters to come to court that day to see the evidence for themselves.
