A Salute to Veterans Golf Tournament held Monday

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The CDS Wolf Foundation celebrated its 37th annual A Salute to Veterans Golf Tournament Monday.

Proceeds from the event go to Warrior Salute Veteran Services. The organization provides case management and transitional housing supports to veterans diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder, traumatic brain injury, and military sexual trauma.

“It supports our new core home, which is in Webster, New York, which is at full capacity,” Advancement for Wolf Foundation Executive Director David Greenman said. “We have 14 bedrooms currently and we have a local waiting list. So these funds will go to directly support our programs for veterans. It’s free of charge for the veterans. It’s a clean and sober house, and they stay generally six months to a year.”

The event took place at Oak Hill Country Club in Pittsford.
