    Semi truck crashes into Oakfield home, driver injured

    ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Police are investigating after a semi-truck crashed into a home in Oakfield Tuesday morning.

    The incident happened on Drake Street around 1 a.m. Investigators said the truck crashed into a car and then into the home. The house was severely damaged as a result of the crash.

    According to the New York State Police, the driver was asleep and struck a parked vehicle and then the occupied house. He was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

    The homeowner told News 8 that he and three others were asleep upstairs when the crash happened. They did not report any injuries.

    The driver was issued vehicle and traffic tickets.
