Anchor Drop, August 3, 2024: 28 Days to Kickoff

One of the most touching moments was when Toby’s daughter, Krystal Keith, performed “Don’t Let the Old Man In.” Another special moment was provided by HARDY, when he revealed footage from Toby Keith’s last studio recording session. The video showed Keith laying down vocals on a cover of Joe Diffie’s, “Ships That Don’t Come In”, for HARDY’s latest “Hixtape” album. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house by the time the video ended. For those of us who weren’t present for the show, “Toby Keith: American Icon,” was taped and will air August 28 on NBC.
