The Rock County Board is scrambling to spend close to $1 million in ARPA funding by the end of the year, or risk returning it. Beloit business receives $10,000 Backing Small Business grant
Out of the 500 businesses around the country receiving $10,000 Backing Small Business grants from American Express and Main Street America, four of them are in Rock County. Kimberly Megan is the owner of Chic & Unique at 318 State Street in Beloit. She’s using the grant to remove the stucco from her building and restore it to the original brick.
