    KCPS providing summer meals

    ROCK HALL — Kent County Public Schools is offering free summer meals for all children 18 years of age and younger.

    As part of the schools’ efforts to ensure that children have access to healthy food during the summer months, breakfasts and lunches will be available at no charge for children.

    No application is required. Children do not have to be enrolled in Kent County Public Schools.

    This summer, meals will be available for pickup Mondays through Thursdays, from June 17 to Aug. 8.

    Distribution sites and times are:

    Open school sites

    Galena Elementary School

    114 S. Main St., Galena

    Noon to 1 p.m.

    H.H. Garnet Elementary School

    320 Calvert St., Chestertown

    10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

    Rock Hall Elementary School

    21203 W. Sharp St., Rock Hall

    11 a.m. to noon

    Kent County High School

    25301 Lambs Meadow Road, Worton

    Noon to 1 p.m.

    Mobile drop-off sites

    Edge of Town

    Edge of Town Drive, Chestertown

    10:10 to 10:20 a.m.

    Woods Edge Apartments

    Baywood Court, Chestertown

    10:35 to 10:45 a.m.

    Betterton Firehouse

    2 Howell Point Road, Betterton

    11:15 to 11:25 a.m.

    Kennedyville Firehouse

    11993 Kennedyville Road, Kennedyville

    11:35 to 11:45 a.m.

    Millington Firehouse

    185 Sassafras St., Millington

    12:05 to 12:15 p.m.
