Jasmine Grill is Looking for a Permanent Spot in Rock Hill

After closing its Rock Hill location and opening a new site in Pineville , the owner of Jasmine Grill is officially looking to return permanently to Rock Hill .

Previously, What Now Charlotte reported on the Mediterranean restaurant moving to a new home in Pineville, located at 10601 Centrum Pkwy. Owner Feras Jaber decided to move out of its original Rock Hill location at 2476 Cherry Road after an ownership change at the business plaza. As a result, Jasmine Grill landed in the former Captain D’s spot near Carolina Place Mall, which officially opened earlier this month.

Now Jabar is preparing to return to Rock Hill permanently and tells the Charlotte Observer that he is “still looking for a good spot.” Until the perfect location is found for the new Rock Hill Jasmine Grill, customers can still access the food without having to go too far. The company launched a food truck earlier this year in Rock Hill and serves the area every day except Thursday at 275 S. Charlotte Ave.

The new location will officially be the company’s second site, which was the intention of the Pineville restaurant. When the new location opens, customers can expect a variety of kebobs with various meat options, including chicken, beef, lamb, and shrimp. The restaurant also offers shawarma plates, wraps, and two dessert options: baklava and knafeh. There’s a Jasmine Grill on South Boulevard in Charlotte that Jaber co-owned when it opened in 2013 but is no longer affiliated with that restaurant, owned by his brother-in-law Mohammed Mahrousa.
