New management company takes over Rock Hill senior living community

Liberty Senior Living assumed the management role for what was formerly HarborChase of Rock Hill.

Liberty Senior Living ’s new role became effective May 30, according to a news release.

Now called Kempton of Rock Hill, the facility offers senior living community offers assisted living, memory care and respite care.

“We are proud to add Kempton of Rock Hill to the portfolio of senior living communities that we manage,” Cindy Stancil, vice president of operations for Liberty Senior Living, said in the release.

A division of Liberty Health, Liberty Senior Living specializes in senior living and retirement communities. Kempton of Rock Hill will be a part of an organization that has assisted people in managing their health care and residential needs for almost 150 years, the release stated.

“Liberty Senior Living communities focus on providing generous service packages, engaging programming, distinctive dining, distinguished care and beautiful surroundings for residents,” Liberty Senior Living said in the release. “As part of Liberty Senior Living, Kempton of Rock Hill will be able to collaborate with its extensive network of successful senior living professionals.”

Through Liberty Senior Living, Kempton of Rock Hill will be able to provide its residents with access to INSPIRE, their comprehensive and multi-dimensional wellness program. Furthermore, they will utilize the GEMMS program, which embraces the teachings and training about dementia by Teepa Snow and the Positive Approach to Care (PAC) methods. The GEMMS program focuses on the unique needs of each individual and brings impactful engagement and purpose to the lives of residents.

“We will continue to foster the culture of excellent care and ensure our residents feel safe, loved and part of our family,” Leeann Pressley, executive director at the community for 10 years, said in the release “We are thankful that Liberty Senior Living has the same core values that we strive to live by daily.
