Missouri Minute: Chiefs set stadium decision deadline; state to launch regulatory sandbox
Kansas City Chiefs president Mark Donovan said that within the next six months the team will decide the fate of Arrowhead Stadium. The football team is considering renovating the stadium, building a new location in Missouri or accepting an offer to move across state lines to Kansas. Then, legislation signed by Gov. Mike Parson creates a new state program that will waive certain regulations for Missouri businesses creating innovative products, known as the regulatory sandbox. Owner of former J.C. Penney building in Trenton outlines repair plans
The Trenton Building and Nuisance Board held a hearing last evening, attended by Jason Lassiter, the owner of the former J.C. Penney building at Eastgate in Trenton. A federal lawsuit filed Monday accuses a quasi-governmental organization based in Missouri of illegally overcharging and actively misleading student loan borrowers.
