    Rockford man accused of delivering cannabis after speeding 30 mph over

    ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Winnebago County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Schuyler Tolefree Jr., 27, for allegedly speeding 30 mph over and delivering cannabis.

    On July 24, around 3 a.m., a deputy did a U-turn after seeing a Chevrolet Impala driving 63 mph in a 30 mph zone on Kishwaukee Street, according to court records.

    The authorities conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Kiwaukee Street and Harrison Avenue and said they smelled cannabis in the car.

    When officials searched the Impala they found cannabis in plastic bags as well as almost $5,000 in cash in his sweatshirt.

    Tolefree Jr. was lodged in the Winnebago County Jail and is being charged with unlawful possession of cannabis while driving, manufacturing and delivering cannabis, possession of cannabis, speeding 26-34 mph over and driving with an obstructed front windshield.
