ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — A Rockford restaurant has announced it will be permanently closing this month and relocating to North Carolina.

TNT Funnel Cakes, which moved into the former Subway at 201 W. State Street in July 2020, announced Tuesday that its last day of business will be August 17th, 2024.

The store announced the closing on Facebook, and said they would be relocating the business to Greensboro, North Carolina.

TNT Funnel Cakes describes itself as a small, Black-owned business that offers flavored funnel cakes that “satisfy your sweet tooth.”
