Deadly car crashes with teens on the rise in Knoxville
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - The summer months are considered the deadliest season for teenagers on the road, often referred to as the “100 Deadliest Days.”. The Knoxville area is on pace for an alarming number of teenage driving deaths this year. The number of deaths this year is double what the area saw this time two years ago. In the first six months of 2022, there were five teen-driving deaths in Knoxville. This year, there have already been 11.
