The Spokane County Prosecutor has declined to file charges against the seven police officers who fired their weapons and injured Israel Garcia during a drug-related downtown exchange of gunfire about two years ago. Soap Lake Man Arrested for Causing 57-Acre Fire That Destroyed Homes, Buildings
SOAP LAKE — A 25-year-old resident of Soap Lake, David Teslyuk, has been arrested and charged with first-degree reckless burning in connection with a brush fire that erupted late Tuesday. The fire, which spread over 57 acres, occurred just east of Soap Lake and led to substantial property damage and at least one serious injury. Grant County Fire District 7 confirmed the fire's size due to better mapping.
