Rockland football hopes to keep recent playoff success going: 2024 Bulldogs schedule

Under the leadership of head coach Nick Liquori, Rockland High School football hopes to make yet another run in the state playoffs, and get back to the Super Bowl.

The program has experienced a great deal of playoff success recently, highlighted by a state championship win in 2021 against longtime rival Abington. The program beat Abington again the next year in a 28-0 thumping to reach the Division 6 Final Four.

In 2023, Rockland moved to Division 7. Despite graduating 17 seniors that season, Rockland made the state quarterfinals before being ousted by Clinton. However, the team closed out it's season with a 42-21 win over East Bridgewater on Thanksgiving.

Rockland looks to keep trending in the right direction this season and remain a playoff contender.

Friday, Nov. 1 - at Sandwich, 7 p.m.
