Woman killed in Fall River pedestrian crash remembered as giving woman of God as services announced
A 67-year-old Dartmouth woman killed after being struck by a box truck on Joseph Drive in Fall River is being remembered as services have been announced. According to Gregg Miliote of the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office, at around noon on Wednesday, two victims, the driver of the box truck, and three others were at 214 Joseph Drive to pick up a dresser. The six individuals were all employees or volunteers for the non-profit organization known as My Brother’s Keeper, which organizes drop offs and pick-ups of donated furniture.
Abington HS names Bruce Fleming II its new Head Coach
Abington High out of District 1 has named Bruce Fleming Jr its new football head coach. Bruce is no stranger to District 1 as he is the former Wissahickon High head coach where he lead their program for 3 seasons (2019-2021). Most recently Bruce served as the assistant coach and defensive coordinator for Chestnut Hill College which plays sprint football. Other previous coaching stops include Ursinus College, Prep Charter and assistant roles within the Wissahickon program.
