Five from Piscataway Named to University of Hartford’s Honor's Lists
WEST HARTFORD, CT -- The University of Hartford announced that 1,927 students have been named to the Dean's List and President's List for the Spring 2024 semester. The Dean's List recognizes students achieving superior academic standing. To be placed on the President's List, students must maintain a GPA of at least 3.75 and receive grades of C or better. Hartford Athletic picked up a point at home in their scoreless draw against Phoenix Rising FC tonight. Though ending scoreless, tonight’s matchup was not short of scoring opportunities. Hartford wasted no time setting the tone for a strong offensive presence, crashing Phoenix’s attacking third right out of the gate. The Green and Blue saw their first chance at an early lead with less than 10 minutes on the clock after they were awarded a free kick right outside Phoenix’s box. Mamadou Dieng made contact with the kick, sending a strong header ricocheting off a Rising defender to earn Hartford a corner kick. Two arrested after child exploitation operation in Hartford
HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) - Two men were arrested after a child exploitation operation in Hartford Thursday. Hartford police say that the Special Investigations Division, along with the FBI Crimes Against Children/Human Trafficking Task Force, conducted the operation and caught the two suspects after they responded to an undisclosed location with the intent to exchange money for sexual acts with a minor.
