    1 displaced after fire damages Rockville home

    MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. ( DC News Now ) — A person is displaced after a fire tore through their Rockville home on Wednesday afternoon.

    Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS) crews responded to the 1500 block of Grandin Avenue, off of Broadwood Drive, shortly after 12:40 p.m.

    The living room area and its contents had caught on fire. The homeowner, who was out at the time, discovered the fire upon their return and called 911.

    No one was hurt, but a person was displaced due to the significant damage.
