The Otero County Coroner’s Office performed an autopsy on Tuesday, May 21, and preliminary results were consistent with an accidental drowning, the CBI said.

The CBI said the investigation is ongoing and the final report will be submitted to the 16th Judicial District Attorney’s Office.
