Nyquist's Tenma Wins Pitched Battle On Debut At Del Mar
At sunny Del Mar, it was first-time starter Tenma (Nyquist–Amagansett, by Tapit) who battled a rival filly down the lane to graduate. Men charged in Amber Spradlin murder return to court
PRESTONSBURG, Ky. (WYMT) - Dr. Michael McKinney, his son, M.K. McKinney, and Josh Mullins were rearraigned with more charges relating to the Amber Spradlin murder case. Each man was charged with an eighth count of tampering with physical evidence. Investigators say the men planted a knife in the couch where Spradlin was found, but the knife was not used in the crime. All three entered not guilty pleas.

The Power of Persistence: MJ's Success in the Chinese Flagship Program
Maria Julian, known as "MJ," is a native of Louisville, Kentucky, and a recent alumna of Western Kentucky University (WKU ‘24). As a member of the Chinese Flagship Program (CFP) at WKU, she is gearing up for her fifth-year capstone experience in Southeast Asia. Her journey is bolstered by the prestigious David L. Boren Scholarship, a $25,000 award supporting language-focused study abroad for the 2024-2025 academic year. MJ is one of seven recipients of this scholarship from the spring 2024 award cycle, all of whom are graduates of the CFP at WKU.
