Felony Arrest for Davis Police after Man Fails to Stop at Stop Sign
A SIMPLE TRAFFIC violation led to the seizure of 19 pounds of marijuana and over $10,000 in cash. Running a stop sign put Liqiang Sun in the path of Davis Office Blake Snyder while on patrol. With the help of a translator app and other Davis officers, the stop took drugs off the street. Well done, Davis Police Department.

OKMULGEE, Okla. (TCN) -- Three people face charges after allegedly abducting a man last week and forcing him to jump off a bridge and into traffic, causing injuries. According to a media release from the Okmulgee County Sheriff's Office, on July 25, deputies responded to a report of someone jumping into traffic. Authorities found a male victim who was "badly injured," and emergency personnel transported him to a hospital for immediate medical attention.

For 19-year-old Tucker Cates of Durant, Oklahoma, it was an experience that he described as “one of the best weeks of my life.” With future plans to serve the Lord full-time through ministry work, Cates was thrilled to take part in a unique opportunity to learn from faithful Christian men who had plenty of wisdom, knowledge and professional advice to share. State juvenile agency joins Georgetown program amid crisis at Tulsa's facility
The agency charged with enforcing standards at Tulsa’s Family Center for Juvenile Justice (FCJJ) is now in an educational program at a prestigious university. Oklahoma’s Office for Juvenile Affairs (OJA) is enrolled in Georgetown’s Youth in Custody Certificate Program.
