    2024-03-31

A Rogers business has been awarded the bid to complete Phase 1 renovations of the auditorium at Elk River High School as part of the school district’s program of long-term facilities maintenance.

The Elk River Area School District received three bids on Tuesday, March 19, for the first phase of renovation of the auditorium/Zabee Theater at Elk River High School, including one from the low bidder in Dering Pierson Group, 22401 Industrial Blvd. in Rogers. They will do the project for $409,000.

The other bidders were KUE Contractors, out of Watkins, Minnesota, who submitted a bid of $522,000; and Versacon out of Minneapolis, whose bid came in at $472,640.

Representatives of the school district and Wold Architects coordinated the process that attracted three bids that fell within the parameters of anticipated and acceptable project pricing expectations, according to documents in the board packets.

Wold officials contacted Dering Pierson Group, and they are ready to enter into a contract.
