    2024-04-24

Chad Lanners has been hired as the new executive director of CROSS Services in Rogers.

Lanners will have overall leadership responsibility for the 47-year-old nonprofit social service agency that provides food assistance, financial programs, and children’s programs for individuals and families in need living in Rogers, Maple Grove, Osseo, Corcoran, Dayton, west Champlin, St. Michael, and Albertville.

“I am excited to join CROSS Services and lead the organization, as we partner with the community to fight poverty and hunger with the goal to bring relief to those who find themselves or their families in desperate need of resources,” Lanners said.

After graduating from St. Cloud State University with majors in sociology and criminal justice, he began his career as a youth development counselor with Golden Valley Health Center and then went on to work as a separation counselor with Youthlink. A licensed social worker, Lanners has nearly 25 years of progressive social service experience, including numerous executive roles with the YMCA of the Greater Twin Cities, Camp Fire Minnesota, and, most recently, Fishing For Life.
