Cardinals' Victor Scott: Adds another steal
Scott went 0-for-3 with a walk, one RBI, a stolen base and one run scored in Friday's 6-1 win over the Twins. Scott wasn't able to build on his three-hit effort from Thursday, but he stole a base for the second game in a row. Speed is his biggest positive, though he's posted a .183 on-base percentage through 115 plate appearances in the majors this year, which is a big reason why he's been limited to four steals. He's been a bit better since his Aug. 4 call-up, slashing .208/.240/.333 over 15 games since he returned to the majors.

The best player the Chiefs are very likely to release at roster cuts
In the interest of clarity from the get-go, the headline is everything here. The Kansas City Chiefs have a number of players with some decent name recognition (thanks, three Super Bowl rings!) on the offseason 90-man roster who are flirting with the possibility of being released in a matter of days. But the wording is important here. While some bigger names could be discussed with one foot out the door, it's also just as possible those players are brought back. And that's not the conversation we're having.
