East Fayetteville restricts water usage to prevent shortage
The city of Fayetteville’s water and sewage division recently announced new water-use restrictions in certain parts of the city as an attempt to combat potential shortages from now until September. Assistant operations manager for Fayetteville water and sewage Aaron Watkins said these restrictions come in response to the rapid growth of the area.
Golfing with a high-tech twist at Cartpath Social
LOWELL, Ark. — The Around the Corner crew swung on over to Cartpath Social, a hobby golfing entertainment center in Lowell with a high-tech twist. The center has four bays with golfing simulators that track the speed, angle, direction, and power of player's swings to simulate the path of the ball. Two people wanted after allegedly leaving the scene of a drug crime in Council Grove and driving to Oklahoma to escape justice have been arrested. Meagann Mason and Colby Ross were arrested Sunday at an unspecified location in Oklahoma, according to Morris County Crime Stoppers. They could be extradited to face charges at a later time.

Police identify suspect who caused hours-long Mercy lockdown
FORT SMITH, Ark. — According to Fort Smith police, the intruder who caused an hours-long lockdown at Mercy Hospital on Monday, July 22, is now in custody.
