OU junior wing Jeff Nwankwo has suffered a torn achilles during summer workouts, a source confirmed to Sooners Illustrated on Sunday. The severe injury will sideline him for an extended period of time, but Oklahoma is still hopeful that he could possibly make it back by the end of this upcoming season. Shooting Incident at Econo Lodge Motel in Pryor Ends in Tragedy
PRYOR, Oklahoma ~ Last night, at approximately 9:39 PM, Pryor Creek Police Officers were dispatched to the Econo Lodge Motel on the south side of Pryor Creek in response to a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found a male victim outside a motel room with two gunshot wounds to his upper body. The suspect had fled the scene before the officers arrived, but eyewitnesses provided a description of the suspect's vehicle.
