There’s no longer an ‘interim’ in Eric Marsh’s title at the town of Rolesville.

Marsh was hired as Rolesville’s town manager June 4.

Prior to being named town manager, Marsh had served as the town’s assistant town manager since November 2021.

Since December 2023 he had served as interim town manager in Rolesville.

Marsh earned a bachelor of science in civil engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a master of public administration from UNC-Chapel Hill.

He has 14 years of experience in civil engineering, project management, strategic planning and leadership, including service with the city of Durham, town of Carrboro, Durham County government, and UNC Healthcare.

Marsh holds memberships in the International City/County Managers’ Association, the North Carolina City/County Management Association, and the National Forum of Black Public Administrators.

He was recently recognized by Engaging Local Government Leaders as one of the nation’s 100 Top Influencers in Local Government for 2024.

ELGL described Marsh as “a role model in local government who is paving the way for others.”

In addition to his career obligations, Marsh serves as Board Chair for the YMCA of the Triangle and mentors future engineers and public sector leaders, according to the town’s website.
