If you thought the Gallagher brothers putting aside their differences to reunite Oasis after 15 years might signal that Liam and Noel had turned over a new leaf, were embracing life and goodwill, and approaching the world with a new kind of grace — oi, come off it bruv.

At least that’s as far as Liam is concerned. The man remains the consummate, antagonistic, borderline belligerent poster we all know and love. Even if it that means negging Oasis fans who were left frustrated by the on-sale experience for their reunion shows next year.

This morning, Gallagher puffed out his chest (we imagine) and fired off an extremely spicy tweet about how he was expecting a bit more damn gratitude for doing the thing everyone’s been yelling at him to do for over a decade. “OASIS are back your welcome and I hear there ATTITUDE STINKS good to know something’s never change LFUCKING x”

The extent to which the “ATTITUDE STINKS,” of course, has a lot to do with ticketing availability and prices for the Oasis reunion shows. While the band tried to block scalpers from gouging fans on the secondary market with a face-value ticketing exchange, tickets have still popped up on platforms like Viagogo and StubHub. And besides, fans still had plenty to complain about on the primary market, with Ticketmaster’s controversial dynamic pricing mechanisms causing some prices to spike by as much as £200 (about $260).

This is, of course, a harsh reality of the current live entertainment landscape. Things like dynamic pricing and the re-sale market have created new benchmarks for artists and ticket sellers to see exactly how much some people are willing to pay for tickets. That can be extremely frustrating for most fans, who suddenly find themselves priced out of shows. As one fan responded to Liam’s tweet, “Didn’t expect [Oasis] to rip the fans off as much as they have done.”

Oasis, for their part, have tried to meet demand, announcing additional shows , including two gigs in London that will be invite-only , with tickets sold in batches to selected applicants. And when confronted with these valid criticisms directly on social media, an artist could, of course, offer some commiseration in response, or even just ignore the tweet. But not our kid, who fired back, “SHUTUP.”

The posting did not stop after that. When someone asked Liam how he was feeling, he quipped, “SMUG only kidding SMUG AS FUCK I told you all we were gonna get back together 1 fine day.” When another person asked if he had a spare ticket, Liam crowed, “Shit loads but there really expensive 100 thousand pounds Kneeling only.”

But Liam’s most diabolical, yet unfortunately hilarious, tweet came when someone asked him how Peggy — mother to Liam and Noel — felt about her two sons finally settling their feud after all these years. To which Liam replied, “She’s gutted she couldn’t get a ticket.”
