Taylor Fritz Played the U.S. Open In This Surprising Sneaker Choice

U.S. tennis star Taylor Fritz came up just shy of taking home the U.S. Open titl e this weekend, losing to Jannik Sinner in a three-set battle . But aside from making history as the first U.S. man to appear in a Grand Slam final since 2009, Fritz also turned heads with his choice of footwear.

After years of wearing Nike tennis shoes , Fritz turned up to the U.S. Open in a pair of ASICS.

Fritz played the Grand Slam tournament in a pair of white and black ASICS Gel-Resolution 9 tennis shoes.
