As the fog descends over Universal Studios on both coasts, so too do the guitar riffs of a certain Guns N’ Roses rocker.

For the past six years, Slash has composed the original music for the ‘Universal Monsters’ haunted house at Halloween Horror Nights, an annual event which thrills and chills guests at Universal Studios Hollywood every Halloween season. This year, the acclaimed artist has released a new vinyl record titled Slash Music Of Universal Studios Hollywood – Halloween Horror Nights , featuring a collection every track he’s written for the HHN Universal Monsters house compiled into one, trippy-looking limited-edition album.

“As a longtime fan of horror movies and of Halloween Horror Nights, I jumped at the chance to once again collaborate with Universal Studios Hollywood to produce a soundtrack for the ‘Universal Monsters’ haunted house,” Slash said in a statement. “Similar to the way music affects a film, I composed this score for the legions of infamous characters in these haunted houses to elicit a sense of emotional terror.”

The spine-chilling 11-track album will be sold exclusively onsite at Universal Studios Hollywood from Sept. 5 through Nov. 3. There are also 300 alternate color vinyl that are hand-signed by the man himself to be placed in stores at Universal Studios Hollywood until they’re sold out (the ones reserved for sale online are already long gone). While you’ll have to get a park ticket to pick up this vinyl in-person, you won’t have to enter a haunted house or load up on the Terror Tram to prove your mettle — although you can always choose your night to scream and pick up a separate ticket to Halloween Horror Nights Hollywood here .

Can’t make out to the West Coast park? Target has the vinyl box set of Slash’s last album, 2022’s 4 featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators available online now . The band’s latest collection comes with a plethora of extras, including a photobook, mini-guitar, sew-on patch, guitar picks and a lithograph. For the recording of 4, Slash and the band traveled together across the country to Nashville to record at the historic RCA Studio (which isn’t quite as far as the underworld, but it’ll do). You can also grab the deluxe CD box set at Target for $24.49 here .

Back in the fog, Slash’s original score for this year’s all-new haunted house “Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines” is headlined by a gathering of classic Universal Monsters femme fatales: The Bride of Frankenstein, Dracula’s daughter, She-Wolf of London and mummified Egyptian princess Anck-Su-Namun. The “Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines” storyline finds fearless Saskia Van Helsing (an original character made for this year’s house) forced to forge an uneasy alliance with the Bride of Frankenstein to face off against Countess Marya in a battle for life and death, where only one bloodline will survive. We recently braved this house ourselves, and it’s one of the most compelling, goosebump-inducing original houses of the year.

With track names like “The Monster Reborn”, “Dracula’s Brides”, and “We Belong Dead”, this year’s score is even more meaningful, as it’s playing within the legendary Sound Stage 12 on the studio back lot. The “Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines” house is staged this season in the original filming location for such Universal horror classics as Dracula (1931), Frankenstein (1931), and The Bride of Frankenstein (1935), among others revered films.
