During the Kansas City Chiefs’ game Monday night, the former Cowboys quarterback and ESPN commentator Troy Aikman incorrectly described Taylor Swift as “the Mrs.” in reference to her relationship with Travis Kelce.

After the camera cut to Swift following a play by Travis in the second quarter, Aikman said, “ The Mrs. likes it ” as she celebrated with Travis’ dad Ed during the broadcast. His fellow broadcaster, Joe Buck, later corrected Aikman, saying, “You know they’re not married?”

“Oh, I know,” Aikman replied. “I’m sure I’m in trouble for saying that.”

“My daughters have warned me multiple times today, ‘Dad, I know you think you’re funny. Don’t make any jokes,'” Buck added.

Earlier in the broadcast, and before the game, Travis’ brother Jason joined the ESPN for some pre-game analysis. The camera suddenly cut to Swift’s arrival, and Jason had a sweet reaction to seeing his brother’s girlfriend on screen.

“Hey, look at that now. She’s got the part on right there… that looks good,” Jason said about Swift’s red-and-brown mini dress and Vivienne Westwood handbag.

Swift’s football game appearance came just a few days after Travis’s birthday over the weekend. Monday’s matchup marked her first game back at Arrowhead Stadium since early September.

Swift was captured in the VIP suite alongside Chariah Gordon, Mecole Hardman Jr.’s fiancée as the two posed for photos and bonded after the game. The Chiefs defeated the New Orleans Saints 26 to 13 and are one of two undefeated teams in the first five games of the NFL season.

Swift is set to return to the Eras Tour for its last leg of shows on Oct. 18 with shows in Miami, New Orleans, Indianapolis, Toronto, and Vancouver through mid-December.
