Beaumont — The Beaumont Police Department is investigating a fatal officer-involved shooting on Harriot near Avenue E that left a man dead and no officers hurt. Ofc. Haley Morrow tells KFDM/Fox 4 News police were responding to a disturbance at about 8:20 p.m. Saturday, talking with a man involved in the disturbance, when another man armed with a chainsaw approached from behind a residence and advanced toward officers.
